Marketing Assistant (Part Time - Variable Days/Hours)

Location: Hallandale Beach, FL

Major Responsibility Areas:

  • Assist Marketing staff with execution of marketing programs
  • Contribute to marketing team effort by accomplishing related projects and tasks on time and accurately
  • Organize work assignments in order to maintain the greatest efficiency for department initiatives and events
  • Coordinate work as needed with outside agencies, art services, printers, entertainers, etc.
  • Monitor the purchasing of casino promotional items and giveaways
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies
  • Complies with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures and internal control protocol
  • Provide excellent administrative and customer facing support for marketing initiatives
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned 
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Marketing or a related field
  • 1-2 years professional experience in a job directly dealing with marketing, or related industry
  • Requires intermediate MS Office skills
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, customers, outside community groups
  • Strong verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists
  • Ability to assist in the planning and coordination of on-site special events and entertainment; must have a flexible schedule to accommodate various property events
