Maintenance Technician (Evenings/Weekends Required)

Summary: Responsible for the overall maintenance, plumbing, and electrical components of the building and grounds. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Performs routine and emergency maintenance on systems and equipment as required.
  • Troubleshoots and takes corrective action to ensure structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration operate as needed. Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
  • Carries out assigned work procedures and work schedules.
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
  • HVAC, plumbing or electrical certifications are required (MUST HAVE at least one of these to qualify).
  • Requires knowledge of all aspects of plant safety, building maintenance, and various trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
  • Strong customer service orientation required.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
